THE TREE............................................$95.00
I created this one-of-a-kind tree sculpture from solid copper wire
and other natural materials. It stands 6 1/2" tall and is
approximately 6" wide. The base is a limestone creek rock
bearing traces of a red limonite mineral (a material used
by ancient Native Americans to draw pictographs on rock walls).
Tucked into the roots of this little tree are: a sterling silver
morel mushroom (cast from a real specimen), quartz crystals,
turquoise nugget, polished agate (found on banks of the
Mississippi River) and genuine gemstone leaves (carved picture
jasper, amethyst & moss agate). This tree sculpture sits on a
contoured red oak wood base (not pictured) which is 1" thick.
Can be displayed with or without the wood base. I titled this piece,
"The Tree". Trees are long held as symbols of life. They are beautiful,
majestic & among them are the largest & oldest of all living things
on earth. They are planetary elders. Trees are a part of a circle that
links all life on earth.
