This sterling silver sculpture replicates a small piece
of forest floor where spider investigates a stand of morels!
Each twig, leaf and morel mushroom is molded from
a real specimen and is actual size. The spider is hand-
fabricated however! Our one-of-a-kind sculpture is created by
method of lost wax casting and elements are hand solder-
ed. Winged elm twigs from a Champion tree were used in
the process. The Live Oak leaves were from a 1000 year
old tree! Weight of the sterling silver is: .73 troy oz.
(14.53 dwt.). The silver sculpture alone measures 2” x 1 ¾”
and stands 2” tall on the cherry wood base. The footprint
of the base is 2 ¼” x 3”. The sculpture is not permanently
attached to the wood base. This item comes gift boxed.
